Looney Ben will be participating in the Thad & Alice Eure "Walk for Hope" efforts to raise money for research for the causes and treatments of mental illness. We are proud to be participating in this noteworthy organization's cause. We invite you to participate as part of our team, R.O.A.R. Out Loud. On Sunday, October 9th, 2011 we plan to join thousands of others who will participate in the 23nd Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope and the 3rd Annual 10k Run for Hope. This event raises funds to promote scientific research into the causes of mental illness and to discover more effective treatments.

We would like very much for you to join our team. The Walk for Hope is 10k walk from the Angus Barn Restaurant through Umstead State Park. Both are located off of Highway 70 West at Highway 540.

The walk ends back at the Angus Barn for a fabulous post walk celebration with live music, great food and prizes. It is a fun day, a great way to get exercise, and spend time with friends and family while helping many who suffer in silence.
