If you want to be heard, "ROAR"!
R.O.A.R. is an acronym for "Recovery Outreach, Advocacy, and Rescue". Looney Ben is currently organizing a support group for mental health consumers, families, and individuals who may need guidance in seeking help and understanding. R.O.A.R. members know that recovery does exist. Our mission is to reach out and help others discover the path to their own recovery and reclaim their lives. R.O.A.R. also works to support and sustain those already in recovery. R.O.A.R. members believe that we must have a voice that is heard in support of our peers and family members, educating our communities, enabling individuals to make decisions in their own treatment plans, and empowering them to achieve their goals. R.O.A.R. strongly advocates that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for is the same for all.
